Kelly is a life-long resident of Harford County. She graduated in 1998 from Aberdeen High School, then attended UMBC. She earned her B.S. degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 1992. While our office sees a diverse mixture of patients, she especially enjoys treating adults with orthopaedic concerns. “Our small private practice allows me to get to know my patients on a personal level, while giving me the opportunity to improve the physical well-being of our local community members through a patient-centered hands-on approach.” When not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it is gardening, attending sporting events, exploring parks and hiking trails, or relaxing in a comfy chair by the water or the fire pit. “I try to make the best of every day and helping my patients feel better so that they can do the same!”
Laura began working with William Smith and Rick Prothero in 1996. She has worked in the outpatient setting, home care, and nursing facilities. Since 2000, she has been at Smith & Prothero Physical Therapy. Her areas of interest are in geriatrics, sports medicine, and disorders of the lumbar spine.
